Terms of Service
The terms for using Factory or Trader supplier verification reports.
Last updated: 2026-11-05
Acceptance of Terms
Factory or Trader is a supplier-verification service operated by ChineseCheck. By creating an account or purchasing report credits you agree to these Terms of Service.
The Service
You search for a company registered in mainland China, confirm the registered entity free of charge, and unlock a full report with a report credit. A report contains a four-tier verdict (factory, trader, combined or insufficient evidence), an evidence ledger, operating-strength indicators, a likely source factory where the supplier is a trader, and a due-diligence appendix compiled from registry, tax, court, customs, intellectual-property and environmental records.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Reports you unlock are stored in your account under "My reports".
Report Credits
- Credits are sold in packs and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused credits expire automatically after that date.
- Unlocking a report uses one credit. Re-opening a company you already unlocked within the previous 30 days does not use another credit.
- If a report cannot be generated for technical reasons, the credit is returned to your account automatically.
Refunds
Duplicate or incorrect charges, and reports we cannot deliver after our retries, are refunded in cash within 14 days of payment; after that window an undeliverable report's credit is restored to your account. A credit used on a report delivered for the entity you confirmed is not refundable, including when the verdict for that entity is "insufficient evidence". Contact support@chinesecheck.com for any refund request.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use reports for your own sourcing and supplier-management decisions, and not to resell, republish or bulk-redistribute report content, scrape the service, or attempt to access other users' reports.
Intellectual Property
The service, report format and analysis are owned by ChineseCheck. Underlying public-record data remains subject to the rights of its original publishers.
Changes
We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
